Those Annoying Vegans

May 12th // 12pm - 1:45pm

Ana and Brian, also known as “Those Annoying Vegans”, are active members of the animal rights community here in Los Angeles. Ana was born and partly raised in Costa Rica before moving to Boston in 1994. Brian was born in Maryland and grew up in West Virginia. They migrated to Los Angeles in their 20s with the Hollywood dream of becoming actors.

They now reside in Sherman Oaks, California, and are still pursuing their acting careers on top of hosting their YouTube channel, managing their Etsy store, Instagram and Facebook pages and participating in various forms of activism around town, including animal vigils with The Save Movement—oh yeah, and they also have day jobs!

Peace By Vegan

Peace By Vegan

May 12th // 2pm - 3:45 pm

Ryuji grew up an animal lover in Paris, France. As a kid, he dreamed of being everything from a vet to a dolphin trainer to a wildlife photographer. However, just before entering his second year of college, he haphazardly learned about animal suffering in the world  and how there are in fact billions of animals suffering every year at the hands of humans, unseen and unheard.

Promptly afterwards, he chose to live vegan and dedicate his life to being their voice. Today he is based in Los Angeles, where he makes daily videos (with millions of YouTube video views) raising awareness for animals who are exploited by humans.
