F.A.K.E. Screening "Kangaroo"
On September 25th we hosted a screening on a documentary called “Kangaroo” at the famous Vegan gourmet restaurant “Au Lac” in Downtown Los Angeles.
This groundbreaking film reveals the truth surrounding Australia’s love-hate relationship with its beloved icon. The kangaroo ‘image’ is proudly used by top companies, sports teams and tourist souvenirs, yet as they hop across the vast continent they are often considered pests to be shot and sold for profit.
A film that reveals an unlikely love-hate relationship with its beloved icon, uncovering disturbing scenes behind the largest mass destruction of wildlife in the world.
After the Documentary, we had a very inspiring Q&A session with the Directors Mick and Kate McIntyre, hosting by Patrizia Barretto (the Co-Founder of the Vegan Flag).
You can find the entire Q&A session here (thanks to Jane Unchained Live done by Vanessa Marsot).
During the Screening, the guests could enjoy some piece of the F.A.K.E. Museum exposition to discover alternatives about Leather industry such as:
